Bet on Yourself

Nearly three years ago, I took a leap of faith, placing a bet on my own potential. After a particularly inspiring beach walk where I imagined my ideal future state, I realized that my life needed a rewire. I was ready to take my skills, energy, and passions and apply them in a different way. Not just professionally, but holistically across all aspects of my life.

-----

My aspiration was clear: to lead a life marked by fulfillment, balance, and intentionality, all while guiding individuals toward maximizing their personal and professional potential. To support this end goal, I not only made career adjustments but also initiated some profound personal changes.

While honing the skills I needed to deepen my coaching practice, we also faced the challenge of selling our home, downsizing, relinquishing some luxuries, and simplifying life.

Some days were exceptionally quiet, with doubts knocking on the door, and the allure of a stable salary with benefits tried to make its case. There were moments when I forgot the power of connecting with others, and loneliness crept in.

----

However, the work itself became my anchor through those challenges. Whether coaching clients individually or in teams, the path ahead became clear. Witnessing the growth and victories of my clients became the driving force that kept me moving forward.

The energy of a client's awakening, felt even during a quick break, affirmed the purpose and impact of my work. Gratitude fills me when I take a moment for a drink and snack, still immersed in the positive energy from a client's progress.

----

Coaching is a continuous learning journey on both sides of the table, and I am always looking to discover new ways of using language and tools to assist diverse clients in overcoming their challenges.

I find inspiration, joy, and a profound sense of purpose in this ongoing process and (most days) enjoy a more balanced life where I can align my work with my energy and even find time to hit the tennis court.

----

Now, I am embarking on a new venture with my new partner,
Kathryn Montbriand - we are on a journey to help others discover this same sense of wholeness where work, purpose, health, and joyfulness converge.

We call this mid or end-of-career transition point a REWIRE, symbolizing not just a change in direction but a profound transformation towards a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life. So far, we have been testing our tools, products, and workshops behind closed doors with @Chief, and we are thrilled to open up the conversation more broadly in December.

Stay tuned for our first live event, coming soon!
